Today I am informing @SupremeCtofPA that I will not accept the proposed map Republican legislative leaders submitted because it too is a partisan gerrymander that does not comply with the court’s order or Pennsylvania’s Constitution.
The analysis by my team shows that, like the 2011 map, the map submitted to my office by Republican leaders is still a gerrymander. Their map clearly seeks to benefit one political party, which is the essence of why the court found the current map to be unconstitutional.

There should never be Gerrymandering in any way to have the upper hand in any election.
Well, both parties do it... But the Republicans have taken advantage and play unconstitutionally... imagine that!

Why are Republicans crafting it and not a non-partisan body? Common sense? Hello?
Because in PA it is the legislature in power that does the redistricting, and currently that is the GOP. Hopefully, it will eventually be changed to a non-partisan commission.
