My daughter can’t get the insulin she needs. Insurance dictates what she uses. Even with doctor’s appeal, @_HealthPartners forced her on an insulin that made her A1Cs skyrocket and off the insulin that works for her. Also won’t pay for her sensors which help her keep A1Cs level.
We had the same thing happen, but ended up having our endo submit a prior authorization and/or a letter of necessity. It's criminal that insurance companies get to dictate what can and cannot be used, especially in a case like this!
The fact that he even has this concern is gross level failure of his Government! "In order to form a more perfect union" comes to mind. Not once have I read of a founding father declaring that murderous greed was beneficial to any but the $ obsessed CEO's we have today.
