It was just this week that we found out the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was approved. Now on Friday, those vaccines are going into Minnesotans’ arms.   To the team who stepped up and set up a vaccination site in record time, thank you. Fighting COVID is a team effort.

Getting the vaccine is safe, and it should be that way for everyone. Threats or violence against our Asian American neighbors are unacceptable. We will ensure all our communities are safe as they get their vaccine.

NEW REPORT: Throughout COVID, Minnesota has consistently led the nation in protecting kids from hunger, technology barriers, and financial stress. We have much more to do, but I'm proud of this and know we can emerge from COVID stronger than before.

Excited to greet the *very* welcome arrival of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to Minnesota!   It means we can move even more quickly to provide protection and end this pandemic. If you have the opportunity to get a shot, take it.

Kyle Rudolph you’re a true Minnesotan. From a Pro Bowl MVP to a game winning 2019 playoff performance against New Orleans, you’ve given Minnesotans something to cheer about. Thanks for a great 10 years! #82

As we get more and more vaccine, we’re making an effort to reach every community in every corner of Minnesota. More resources and information on that outreach 👇

This photo was taken one year ago – I don’t think any of us realized how COVID would fully change our lives or how much loss the year would bring. One of those we lost was Senator Relph, pictured here, who lost his life to COVID. Thinking today of families missing a loved one.

As cases fall and we administer more and more vaccines, there is a lot of good news on COVID. But people who are asymptomatic can still spread it to others. Getting a test is a great way to keep others safe.

There is fresh snow on the ground but today is officially spring because of this very historic and scientific method of determining the start of the season and that is opening the Moorhead Dairy Queen.
