    For too long, people in Santa Rosa County have had to pay a $5 toll to cross the Garcon Point Bridge — that ends today. I am directing to reduce the tolls on the bridge from $4.50 to $2.30 for SunPass customers & from $5 to $2.75 for cash customers

    Forcing kids to wear masks is bad policy. Parents are best equipped to decide whether they want their kids to wear a mask in school. Neither bureaucrats in Washington nor local authorities should be able to override the decision of the parents.

    I recently had the chance to stop by Two Meatballs, owned by Franco & Luigi for over 13 years. A family-friendly restaurant dedicated to quality and service, they have locations in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Great food and welcoming environment!

    Yesterday, we heard from scientists, business owners & local leaders in Tampa Bay who have been working together with & to mitigate blooms in the bay. Florida has provided $2.1 million for these efforts & will continue to offer operational & financial support.
