    Illinois’ top attractions deserve a top gateway. The new Illinois 178 bridge over the Illinois River in Utica provides room for vehicles, bicyclists and hikers to access Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks.

  10. Thanks to the three bills I’ll sign today, we’re reducing the burden of period poverty. Because there’s nothing to be ashamed of in addressing health equity for a mother, a daughter or a sister. Once again, Illinois is demonstrating what it means to stand up for women’s health.

    Led by guidance from , has announced an order requiring K-12 school staff, students, and visitors to wear masks indoors, regardless of vax status. Masks offer the simplest, most effective way to keep students safely in school, where they can learn and grow.

  18. I wish we could avoid having COVID interfere with our summer. But the virus and its effects are increasing once again, and the largest group affected who are being hit especially hard are the unvaccinated.
