    Great to see that getting folks vaccinated is not only good for public health, but also our economy. Next thing we need to do is make sure our economic comeback works for everyone, not just a select few individuals and businesses.

    Bill #1 allows hospital-based violence interventions to be reimbursable by Medicaid. We are the first state in the union to do this. Bill #2 will further strengthen our red flag laws.

    If an air quality alert in CT caused by smoke traveling cross country from western wildfires isn’t a sign that we must take climate action now at all levels of government, I don’t know what is. Let's address this crisis — for our children, grandchildren, and future generations.
