  6. Pawsome University, run by animal rescue and behavior specialists Jaime and John Caponetta, provides one-on-one training for both four-legged and two-legged students. Throughout the pandemic, they offered virtual training to help canines adapt to their new homes and new humans.

  7. We remember Stuart Christie.   Stu was a longtime member of the New Jersey Society of Land Surveyors and Planners with a notable career.  He was also a member of the first graduating class of Toms River North High in 1971.   May God bless Stuart.

  8. We remember Monika Boright.   A native of Germany, Monika came to the U.S. with a nursing degree, working as a nanny, a nurse’s aide, an eldercare specialist, and a reflexologist.  She was always kind, caring, and upbeat. She was also a tremendous artist.   May God bless Monika.

  9. We remember Harold Eisen.   Harold settled in Manalapan after returning from military service. He was the driving force behind Manalapan’s Thompson Grove Dog Park. He loved theatre and had success as a commercial actor.   We thank Harold for his service. May God bless him.

  10. Sadly, we must report 21 additional confirmed COVID-19 deaths, bringing the cumulative total of confirmed deaths to 24,356.   The number of probable deaths remains at 2,766.
