I also signed an executive order – Protecting Against Climate Threats (PACT) – committing
@NewJerseyDEP to adopt an unprecedented suite of new climate regulations. These new rules will create standards to reduce carbon dioxide and short-lived climate pollutant emissions.Prikaži ovu nit -
Our new rules will set the national standard for climate regulations. After the regulations are adopted, if a proposed project doesn’t align with our broader efforts to combat climate change and move to a 100% clean energy New Jersey by 2050, it’s not getting approved. Period.

With our Energy Master Plan and today’s executive order, we’re helping to propel our state into a clean energy future and changing New Jersey for the better. In the absence of climate change leadership in Washington, we’re changing the game here in New Jersey.

How about we apply the electric vehicle subsidy to electric cargo bikes? How about mandating physically separated & protected bike lanes the way we've mandated electric car charging stations? These
are the electric vehicles that can really reduce transport energy consumption.pic.twitter.com/Rmpz89SvLF

It’s a super idea. So when we lose power because our electrical infrastructure is outdated and inadequate we won’t be able to use our generators. What a brilliant plan. Let’s try fixing all the broken stuff first before we promise fairytales
