The second phase of the 2nd Avenue Subway is long promised and wildly overdue. With the infrastructure bill now signed into law, there are no more excuses. We will make good on our promise to Harlem and finish the extension to 125th St. 4/

The health care industry is one place we can’t afford a labor shortage. Unless your an unvaccinated of course. Than you can take in on a hop and we’ll do without you. Even though we took your job you better keep paying those student loans.

Refusing to meet the minimum level of competency is on the healthcare workers not on the system

First off, 1,000 people? Do you realize how many people are working in the healthcare industry? You want to support our frontline workers?! Pay off their student loans! OR cover more than 1,000 people! OR give them bonus pay for the endless hours they sacrificed for strangers!

Here's an idea
: Make tuition for ALL seeking nursing degrees FREE. You won't find a shortage then.
Really all tuition should be free, but let's start here and cross the bridge when we get there. -
at least at the campus I teach at, seems like it's not tuition that's the barrier to entry to our nursing program..it's getting accepted given the limited number of seats so seems like funding should go towards expanding the program/# of seats
