This is the wrong message. If you are over 40 you should absolutely get a booster. Especially if you don’t want to break through infection. Plenty of vaccines in childhood are a 3 does series and this one is likely no different..

There is no "out of this pandemic." Take a look around the world. Without masking and other preventive measures, vaccines do not end this pandemic.

Breakthrough infections are still happening at a rather rapid rate. I'm all for vaccinations to prevent hospitalization however we don't have enough data to provide us with any formidable results. An uncertainty in which only time will tell.

It’s pretty simple- mandates don’t work.

If that’s true why are the numbers the same they were when we didn’t have a vaccine

PLEASE. This is not NEARLY enough. Mask MANDATES. Send masks to everyone in the state. Make testing FREE. There is much more to be done than vaccines at this point. Though, YES, everyone, get your damn vaccines/boosters, TOO!

It is pretty simple, care about other than yourself. Your loved ones, your community, your country. Breakthrough infections happen but the likelihood of dying from Covid is way lower for vaccinated people. Also those around you with immune compromised system are at higher risk.
