  There is no long term safety data for this vaccine, and Covid is unlikely to be severe in healthy kids, so parents hesitation to vax their kids is understandable.

  Ok but if some don’t vaccinate their 5-11 year olds, all these kids should be allowed to unmask. (I don’t mind having my kid be one of the vaxxed for herd immunity.) Unmasking should not be tied to vaxx rates within schools because that would not be equitable and you know it.

  Thank you kids! My kids are being vaccinated too. Beware: Europe is experiencing a surge and NY cases are rising. NY kids have stepped up and done their part. @GovKathyHochul you need to step up too. It is your duty to protect kids. Do not remove school masks.

  As working parents, we are so grateful for the convenience of having COVID vax at school @GovKathyHochul ! Could we also have the 2nd shot at school, too? It would save time & headache to travel to another location in 3 weeks.
