from same day last week: 15,395 additional tests finding only 52 additional cases Pos rate down .11 (great given 7% increase in testing). Hosp down 130 (yay). From 2 weeks ago, the 7 day avg cases has fallen by nearly 900. This coming 4weeks is critical as we get to the holidays.

This is possibly the first sign or real improvement in last 10 weeks. HHS reports drop as well, 2347 COVID patients in NY hospitals, 467 of these with confirmed COVID in ICUs. Positivity went down marginally and so did the Rt value at 0.78 (Harvard Chan). We'll see tomorrow.pic.twitter.com/tWfZTRF9WD
