Fight racial and gender inequity right here in NY by repealing the NYS Hecht-Calandra Act this budget. The NY legislature should allow NYC school district to govern its own schools.
Today we remember George Floyd on what would have been his 48th birthday. Too many Black and Brown lives have been lost at the hands of systemic racism and injustice. We must recommit to building a fairer, more just state and country for us all.

Will you be issuing Birthday wishes to New York State troopers who were killed in the line of duty protecting our law abiding citizens. How about acknowledging their families who lost fathers, mothers, sons and daughters. I find it pandering to the left to post this.
