My grandfather came over from Rome, Italy when he was 8 years old and died in Rome, New York in his 80s. I am so grateful to him for my proud
#Italian heritage. -
What does that have to do with celebrating a guy who never set foot on Continental US? And wasn’t the first European to sail past either? Also how do you discover a landmass that already has people living there? Enough with the charade, one that only started 77 years ago.
