We’ve made great progress delivering for folks suffering from the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, but there’s much more to do. Today we’re launching a $125M fund to give landlords excluded from federal funding the relief they need to pay their basic bills & mortgages.
We can’t leave any New Yorker behind. The new Landlord Rental Assistance program ensures landlords whose tenants have declined to participate in tenant rental assistance programs or who vacated with arrears (unpaid rent) are able to receive our help.

What about landlords who have refused to accept relief and have used that refusal to evict desperate tenants?
