My kids will be vaccinated the second the @US_FDA allows it for 5-11. Please in the meantime - we need better guidance on lunch. Schools think crowded lunch rooms of maskless kids too little to vaccinate are OK. They are NOT. Please help us @DrMaryTBassett and @GovKathyHochul.

473 cases (not hospitalizations or deaths) in NYC the week this article was published. 0.006% of NYC population. In other words effectively 0%, as in, not something to worry about. Certainly not a justification for segregation based on personal medical decisons.

Just add it to the list of required vaccines. New York already requires 9 vaccines to attend school. Just add the covid vaccine to the list for ages 12 and above. Simple. Done.
