Nowadays, among NYS infections, 1/4 or so are of NYC. 1/2 vaxx is of NYC. Today, of 4k new cases, 11.1k is of NYC. Of 24 deaths, 8 are NYC. Even in blue NYS, reddish counties have lower vaxx and more infections and deaths.

NY is like UK, a little up then little down. Positivity up, Rt number down to 0.94. The hospitalizations reported by HHS is at 2928 with 566 of these in ICUs.pic.twitter.com/AsGcQOs64u

A lot of that up and down is caused by NYC failing to report cases for one day only, which means those cases are added to the ones on the next day, making it appear to double in size.
