Good numbers. But the virus is stubborn. NYS seems to have a hard time to get it down to lower infections. It is a wide plateau unlike last two waves when infections came down quickly after reached peak. This time it’s a lower flatter top.

@GovKathyHochul please do your part by: 1) Modelling consistent mask wearing in public 2) Reinstating the Covid report card website - Parents need transparency on Covid in their child’s school 3) Changing guidelines on lunch. Kids < 12 must eat lunch outside whenever possible

My child’s school has plenty of outdoor space, and my child is too young for vaccines, and they make them all eat together in the lunchroom. This is really upsetting. Help @GovKathyHochul! We just want to keep our kids as safe as possible. If there is outside space, use it!
