Those in healthcare have been hoping for such mandates for a while now - relieved they're here finally.

These are NYC schools where mask mandates already exist. And yet the numbers are climbing. These schools are overcrowded and poorly ventilated, and most students are not or cannot be vaccinated. Without a remote option you are setting up children to get sick.

Yes let’s get it done. Restore remote and relieve parents’ anxiety about returning to school. At your press conference today you said you are pushing for vaccines for 5-11 yr olds. We don’t have that yet. Restore remote option until then. Asking for your help.

She and @SenSchumer ate always saying they are “pushing” for something. Yet nothing ever happens. I live near schools and as soon as the kids are outside off come the masks. The entire neighborhood was crowded, kids in bodegas, hanging in large groups maskless. It’s NOT safe!
