Starting September 15, $125M in new state funding through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program will be designated for middle-income renters previously ineligible. Renters interested in applying for either federal or state assistance should visit http://otda.ny.gov/erap

So just when is the landlord across the street from me going to be able to evict the drug dealers that live there? Mind you the house is close to 2 schools and the drug dealer has been seen and heard trying to push drugs on kids that were smart enough to say no.

Wish my landlord would submit upload paperwork on his end for him to get the rental assistance I was approved for but can’t be released until landlords does his part . Paperwork needed is the deposit information for him .

tenants that DONT fills out the form bc they never had hardship...then what?! Small landlords are not able to have due process to recoup all this time. Open the courts and let small landlords due process.

This so called assistance is only covering 12 months and it’s been 18 months already, not counting new eviction ban. Who is covering those months. How about if you give up your salary and work for free for that many months and come back and tell us how does it feel.
