we need remote learning for parents capable of keeping kids home. it slows community spread and bolsters the mitigation efforts already in place until the under 12s can get vaccinated. how can you all run with a plan from before delta??

Because remote instruction is inferior. As an educator I can attest to that. It is also damaging to social emotional health. Transmission in schools is also significantly less than in the general community. Schools are safer for many.

It’s steady…however this doesn’t account for schools starting back, city and state employees returning to work and the inevitable increase of usage of mass transit. We’ll see how this goes in a few weeks. Cuomo would’ve taken more action especially in places outside of city.
