I agree. I had the same job as a production designer for 13 years and lost my job to the pandemic. I have applied for over 100 jobs in the last year and a half. I cannot find a job for the life of me! I don’t want to be home anymore. No one is hiring experienced skilled workers!

What about a single mom with 2 kids! Living on my unemployment to provide! Looking for a job that suit me when my kids are in school! I had one but with COVID it shut down! Please at least extend till Jan 2022!!!

Gov hochul, congratulations. I have concerns over DOL and its ability to process aid in a timely manner. I've been stuck in processing with unemployment since March. It's september. This is an outlandish wait time and people worse off than myself could by harmed by such waits!

I triple checked everything in my application, and made several calls. Everything checks out. But a six month (and counting!)wait to complete an application for one individual with a simple case is not healthy for any functioning service. Please address department of labor.
