Any guidance on if schools will shift to remote? Community spread numbers ? Like last year
Getting our children back to school safely & protecting school staff is our top priority.
We are working closely with localities and @HealthNYGov on a plan to implement a weekly testing requirement for any employees of public & charter schools who aren’t vaccinated.

@GovKathyHochul that’s great, but I’m more concerned about the unvaccinated kids under 12 that’s sitting within 3 feet of my child. Why are we not considering remote for under 12 until they can be vaccinated? Some families need this based on work or immunocompromised in homes. - Show replies

NYers should not have to pay for their testing. If they don't want to get vaccinated, they should be required to pay for their own testing.
