With < 12yr old kids only a few months from having an approved vaccine (and a few additional months to get all the shots in their arms)—NYC needs a Full Remote Option in the meantime, to keep them safe. Why purposely hospitalize them when it will be safer for them come Jan 2022.

Not looking good at all. These numbers are probably even higher but we probably won’t have an accurate count until Tuesday or Wednesday. Universal masking for vaccinated and unvaccinated in all indoor settings is needed now especially with C12 variant lurking.

@GovKathyHochul you do realize that 6 feet apart for eating, drinking, singing and instruments isn't going to work for schools. Only wearing a mask made headlines I don't think anyone saw the 6 feet requirement when masks are off. -
Our district said they would “try” to provide the three feet suggested by the cdc.
