Help landlords and renters by giving relief money. Don’t stop evictions for all people because not everyone is doing the right thing. Squatters should not be protected any longer.

Well duh! It's simple EXTEND both PUA/PUC and the eviction moratoriums and get the flipping ERAP distributed. It is taking months for them to get this money to landlords.

god forbid you'd have worked through the WEEK to get people to apply BEFORE FRIDAY and crashing the site instead of waiting for the WEEKEND cuz you had a priority for toxic PR.

Did money go to landlords? Hmm? State governments have not distributed funds identified in bill. Who gets punished? As usual, poor people, people of color.

Instead of continuing to throw state funding at the problem, wouldn't it be smarter to get in there and help folks figure out HOW they're going to slide back into paying rent?

We need to address our issues with administrative inefficiency . We shouldn't have had to hire a company at over 100 million to distribute aid to New Yorkers. We have a lot of work to do.

NYers wouldn’t be scared if landlords had received the promised money that is still being “reviewed” almost 3 months later. Landlords would work with tenants but as of now we are on our 2nd school tax bill with no help!
-
Exactly. It's not like New York put on a moratorium on tax bills.
