I’m 33 I grew up as no matter what happens in life you pay your way. If you don’t pay your rent you arnt allowed to live where you live. How is this now ok to not pay rent when they’re getting money from govt and still not paying

What the governor stated is correct. Once you apply for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program you are protected from being evicted. I can personally vouch for that.
