Guns violence is a leading cause of premature death in the US. We need a comprehensive public health approach along with judicial and law enforcement support to address this growing crisis in our cities.
Gun violence is a public health issue. New York State is creating a comprehensive approach to tackling the epidemic of gun violence in our communities. Will be convening a gun violence prevention roundtable in Yonkers. Stay tuned.
