Our economy do not need for both parents to be working. During the pandemic, the employment rate dip to about 50%. We need at least one job for each household. Rent is too high and we need for every father to have a job.
As a new mom, I struggled to find child care, and ultimately had to quit my job to stay home with my children. New York families need accessible, affordable child care in order to get back to work.
