Throwback to last year’s St. Patrick’s Day dinner of corned beef, vegetables and soda bread.
Unfortunately, the corned beef didn’t turn out the best…so I’m taking suggestions for tomorrow. #HowNOTtoCookWithKathy

Cook the corned beef slowly in beer. Cook the vegetables separately . The beer must cover the meat. I’ve done this for a few year and the beef comes out as tender as one could hope. Time wise depends on how much you’re making. A slow cooker on low for six hours works to

Keep it covered. I use a stainless steel pot similar to yours. Get it boiling then reduce the heat gradually keeping it covered and checking the fluid.
