The unfair rules against Music Education and the performing arts must be changed now. New state guidance must be issued. Students can be safe at 6' with performance masks and instrumental PPE. The current guidance is not based on science in any way.

Parents never have a seat at the table. NEVER. Our kids suffer for it. This tweet is really gross in light of kids being kept out of school due to politics of teachers unions.

Yup. NYSUT even has its hands in NYSPTA, which is why NYSPTA won’t lobby for a reduction in social distancing.
