This is a great way to remember the origins of the Erie Canal, however recent negative canal related decisions are not helping the economy (that greatly needs to recover) or our canal and its major financial impact on the entire State that could help the recovery.
Doing the impossible is in our DNA.
NY built the Erie Canal when those said it couldn’t be done - see that same toughness and can-do spirit battling the pandemic.
