We as a society have a lot of healing to do. Black communities and people of color all across this state and nation need and deserve to be heard. Racism is at the root of so much pain and suffering. This is not equality and justice for all. We must do better.
The violent act that ended the life of George Floyd must result in real, undeniable justice. This quest must not ignite more violence, but be the spark to eradicate the underlying racism in our criminal justice system.

Think about it. Police officer now have to have 60 college credt before joining the force, pass a psychological test, edure extensive training and then pass probation. These are some of the best men and women in our society. What is wrong with our society?
