Coping ~ Recovery ~ Reconstruction: We need to apply what we are learning from this crisis to build stronger, more agile, more equitable systems. Lesson: childcare is an essential service. Pay, subsidies, reimbursement policies, etc. need to be amended to reflect that fact.
Women are the tip of the spear in fighting #COVID19. They are fighting for us. We need to fight for them - i.e. child care, pay equity, paths to higher-paying jobs.
