The truth is that NY began withholding DMV database information from federal authorities (like ICE officers) who need it to perform their duties safely and effectively. This has had effects even with NY-registered boats in Florida. 9/11 showed that information sharing is vital!

It's rhetoric to call "extortion" the Administation's reaction to your denying them the information they need constantly. The President will not back down from protecting US citizens. Your choice seems to be 1 to provide them database access again now, or 2 to own summer delays.
They just took my husband's Nexus card at the border tonight because it was "expired" but still valid while he waited for his to be renewed. They told him it won't be renewed and confiscated it. They said my daughter and I can still use ours but I'm not so sure.
