She has been committed to helping children and families, and elevating women in our fight for equality.
When I referenced in my remarks on the #NYSenate floor during opening session what made me hopeful during a time of rising anti-Semitic hate crimes - I looked out to leaders like Senator Montgomery.
She has never compromised her values, and she knows what is right and just. I wish Senator Montgomery well in her retirement, she will be missed.
