My head is spinning with what we've accomplished together in the last month alone. We have lived to see real life history, and I'm proud to be on that journey with so many of you. But we're not done yet. We need to achieve true social, economic, racial, and gender justice.
The trailblazers who came before us, we are their voices that demand equality. Their legs that march for justice. Their fingers to text and post on social media to build support for our cause. Not only does our legacy as New Yorkers command us to act but also the era we live in.
As we look at what achieving equality actually means, we see a new, next generation #EqualRightsAmendment.
A next era ERA – that has evolved, and in many ways this agenda reflects our updated priorities for attaining gender parity. #2019WomensAgenda
