Each person has a right to be pro-choice -- BEFORE they have sexual intercourse. Once new life is conceived, the unique unrepeatable person has their individual right to LIFE granted by The Creator.

Thank you Susan. You are so right. The decision to have intercourse is made by us and is a choice. We must accept responsibility for our actions. That innocent unborn child
has a right to life given by God!

Can anyone figure out how these are even remotely related? No? Me either

Govenor, you were an Obama birther, joined at the hip to Sam Brownback; I don’t trust anything you might say or do regarding the welfare of the people of Kansas. Clearly facts don’t matter.

Amen. If God creates a life he has a purpose for it. Only God creates life and He should also end it. Thank you for doing what is right

Keep Kansas stupid little brown back Jr. If I wasn't stuck here for next few years this state and it's policies would all be a fly over.

That same constitution didn't allow women to vote either. Shall we turn back the clock on that one too,
@GovJeffColyer?#ksleg -
Changed by Amendment, not Judial fiat.
-
@Ho8Go8L1N, I welcome replies and comments to any of observations, but I would only ask that they be coherent. -
My apologies, I do try my best to be succinct as this is a tweet on Twitter. Let me explain:
-
Women's Suffrage, or equal voting rights, was a Constitutional amendment to the Kansas Constitution in 1912. The right to any abortion is not in the Constitution, thus there is nothing to turn back the clock on....
-
If the Supreme Court rules there is some right to abortion in the Kansas Constitution, it would be by what I consider to be Judicial fiat, not by actually amending the Constitution to actually include any such language. I hope this helps.
-
Yes, thank you. I guess my point was that times change and so does the will of the people. Perhaps if women had been involved in crafting the Kansas Constitution, there would have been more protections for women's rights and the ability to control their own lives and bodies.

How are these two issues even remotely related? Stay out of women's uteruses, you don't belong there

For you consideration: The Key to keeping Abortion legal is to continuously delay it’s abolition with a never ending stream of incremental pro-life victories

Slavery was Abolished, NO Governor or KFL has even called for the Abolition of Abortion

Kansans for Life has never even called for the Abolition of Abortion, they’ve simply introduced bills to regulate baby Murder. Slavery was Abolished, when will KS exercise State Sovereignty defy Federal Tyranny & Abolish Abortion?

That's because it wasn't an issue in those days. There were methods used to end pregnancies and it wasn't an issue because hack politicians and religious nut jobs didn't feel like it was their place to micromanage the lives of people. Learn some history.
