  10. Our final inductee is , who fronts legendary New Zealand rock band Shihad and now international artist collective The Adults. At Massey, his MFA project Haja explored traditional Sudanese women’s music, inspired by his wedding with wife Dana.

  13. Third, we recognise Annie Collins, acclaimed film editor. She has worked on iconic films from Scarfies to Out of the Blue, Lord of the Rings to Patu! She is known for the humanity she brings to her documentary and film work, and her keen eye for magical details.

  15. Our next inductee is the late Gordon Tovey, artist and educator. He led a revolution of teaching art and crafts in schools in Aotearoa and the South Pacific, with a belief in fostering children’s creativity. His work ensured Māori art was taught in schools alongside Pākeha.
