  5. The violence at the Capitol has no place in our republic. Peaceful demonstrations are our right and help to make our government more responsive - yet when they turn violent, those involved need to be held accountable. Yesterday's actions are a black mark on our nation's history.

  7. It is tough to watch all of the anger today from so many people that are upset with the results of the recent election. I watched as the President cast doubt on the legitimacy of those results. The Presidential office is a position held with great esteem throughout the world. 1/2
