I have said all along that although we must offer our empathy, equally important is our action. In the coming days, we will demand just that of elected officials in our state who have failed to recognize the racism in our state and our country for far too long.

If you truly stand against injustice, make sure you push for the shooting to be investigated thoroughly and put that officer in jail if he’s found guilty.

Ernest Lacy - 1981. 100% unjustified but this happened decades ago. Syville Smith - Attempted to pull out his gun as officer chased him. Can cops not defend themselves anymore?

George Floyd - Unjustified but he was acting crazy. Breonna Taylor - Nothing do to with race, shitty police protocol. Tony Robinson - Unclear, seems unjustified. Dontre Hamilton - Literally assaulted multiple officers and resisted arrest. He was insane.

I pray for true victims of intentional or unintentional deaths at the hands of Police, but also think about the officers killed by criminals too. Police are 18% more times likely to be killed! Stop demonizing Police!
