Do you feel that DSR's reboot of Johnson's fountain fails? At least it's largely intact—unlike the now-demolished Citicorp & Met fountains.
I despise it
It does get one wetter, and that tends to discourage people from sitting on it as they did Johnson's. Perhaps that was the ultimate intent.
