@transpophile@Gothamist Oh, please. Every day I'm almost hit by a bike rider who runs a red light, rides the wrong way or on the sidewalk. -
@YettaTelebenda@Gothamist I go by stats, not anecdotes. Bike-ped fatalities are incredibly rare. Car-ped fatalities happen every day. -
@transpophile@Gothamist I'm not interested in your "stats." I go by my own experience walking around the streets of NYC: dodging bikes. -
@YettaTelebenda@Gothamist The data I was able to find shows 0.1% of pedestrian collisions are from bikes. 0.02% are fatal. I trust science.
