So Apache Struts vulnerability patched 3/8/17, and Equifax applied the patch 4.5 months later (7/30/17), only after learning it was hacked.

Struts is just a bad idea. Docker with the right image & security would of been fine. Mount the data and away you go.

Agreed but would of been quicker to deploy a patched system.

Don't think so. Same process to reroll app in Struts.
