So Apache Struts vulnerability patched 3/8/17, and Equifax applied the patch 4.5 months later (7/30/17), only after learning it was hacked.
Not excusing btw, just giving some context. When orgs use Struts they aren't catching it with usual patching.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that, unless you specifically mean Struts and Tomcat.
