You can't take out the Equifax root CA without breaking almost a million of most popular websites on internet - but somebody has revoked it.

It looks like revoking it doesn't actually, uhm, work. I'm guessing browsers don't CRLs back up to root CA level.

Someone should test this for us by revoking an internal AD CA root cert.
