Uhh "integration" in O365 is just assigning a license. No setup necessary, so not sure what you're referring to

That's AD connect and ADFS, neither involved in exchange online/ SharePoint integration. That works with in-cloud accounts

It was more down to how easy it is to send files directly... work on docs etc. Not any kind of 'setting it up'. Not as easy with on-prem ver
