I e-mailed @MalwareTechBlog’s lawyer to ask if they were aware of the Tor Ekeland funding campaign. I’ll post back if I get a response.

As of right now, his lawyer is not working with Tor Ekeland. They’re only aware of the fundraiser. Follow

I don’t personally. I don’t doubt the fundraiser’s legitimacy. It just isn’t clear that Tor Ekeland isn’t his attorney.

He still needs representation throughout the Bond and Release process and will likely have the case handed off to a Federal defense Atty.
