There's an official Pokémon Go event in Chicago where thousands have gone to one location to play, and the servers have crashed.

Andddd they just cancelled the event. Everybody is getting a refund and $100 of ingame credit. There is a huge line to exit.
When they opened the event (to people shouting "THIS IS SHIT" etc) they pointed out people flew in from all over world, inc Australia. Oops.
