Controversial opinion: I believe my job in security is to make myself and my job redundant. There's always other jobs in other fields.

I think our industry isnt easily broadstroked There are good people doing great work, good people struggling to, fakers & snake oil sellers
Of course - there's always good people, but broadly it's still rising as an industry through failure I think. Still early days though.
