my guess is all that rampant mass-infection we saw caused machines to hang/break/etc. People took them offline or patched.
Not sure if you saw the SMB honeypot I ran https://doublepulsar.com/eternalpot-lessons-from-building-a-global-nation-state-smb-exploit-honeypot-infrastructure-3f2a0b064ffe … but a lot of attacks blocked SMB inbound. Miners and RATs mainly.
